rafting on the Kenai

New Alaska River Adventures Website

For over 40 years, Alaska River Adventures has guided anglers and thrill seekers on life-changing experiences on the Kenai Peninsula. As lovers of the outdoors, we’ve dedicated our lives to ensuring that each person receives the best possible experience fishing, rafting, and sight-seeing in and around Cooper Landing in Southcentral Alaska.

We are excited to roll out our new website, and we invite you to look around and learn about what makes us unique. We took extra time to design a user experience and layout that conveys the bold and exciting adventure that awaits you when you choose us to guide your outdoor sport activities in Alaska. Our website also features more information about our offerings and packages.

Our Fish Info page is specifically designed to be a resource for fish information and includes a helpful chart so you can see when are the best times to fish for king salmon, red salmon, silver salmon, rainbow trout, keta salmon, and dolly varden.

As with all species, seasons vary and the peak fishing times always change. If you happen to be planning a trip to the Kenai Peninsula outside of the ideal time for your favorite fish, get in touch with us. We’ll let you know what’s biting, where’s the action, and how we can create a fishing experience that can live up to your expectations.

We also have an all new Guides page with information about each of our core team members. Each of our guides are experienced on the Kenai River and have many years of first hand knowledge on the best fishing and rafting on the Kenai Peninsula.

Our Packages page gives you the opportunity to select a special adventure to meet your needs. We have packages that offer trophy trout fishing, multi-species fishing, and sightseeing/flyout adventures. With plenty of options for multi-day adventures and three choices of accommodations, our new website gives you plenty of options to put together a custom made vacation on the Kenai Peninsula.

Finally, we have opened up an entirely new offering for those people who may not want to fish or raft during their stay in Alaska.. Or perhaps want to add an additional layer of fun. Our Hiking page gives you detailed information of our guided hikes on the Kenai Peninsula. Our guides will safely take you on scenic hikes that range in difficulty from easy to strenuous. We’ll give you important nature and historic information along the way and ensure that you can witness all the scenery in our beautiful state.

We are proud to be one of the longest-running guiding operations on the Kenai Peninsula. We go the extra mile for our guests, and we cherish each of our returning customers. You can see how others enjoyed their time with us by visiting our reviews on TripAdvisor and Yelp. We also invite you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram. We spend a lot of time helping our guests get the most from their adventures on the river, but we do our best to share that with the world through social media.

Take a look around and let us know what you think. And get in touch when you’re ready to come to Cooper Landing on the Kenai Peninsula. We’d love to show you a good time on the river!
