Ty has a passion for big rainbows but also loves to fish for salmon… so it is no surprise that he made his way to the Kenai. Ty took the time to learn the river by working as a scenic rafting guide and fishing it on his own time for a few years. Ty’s great sense of humor and attention to detail make him a fantastic guide.

Jeremy

Jeremy Lewis

Operations Manager
Jeremy is one of our best guides on the Kenai and is our lead fly-in guide. Plan to have a good day if you go with Jeremy. His great sense of humor and easy-going nature make him a lot of fun to be with. In the off season Jeremy is the Assistant Ski-School Director at a Local Resort.

Jay

Jay Allyn

Jay grew up in Washington state fishing, camping, hiking, boating and experiencing the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. He caught his first trout at age 3, salmon at 7 and got his first fly rod at 12. Jay began guiding in Alaska in 2012. He’s guided seakayking trips in Kenai Fjords, remote fly fishing and rafting expeditions in Western Alaska. In the winter he instructs ski lessons at Alyeska in Girdwood.

Josi

Josi Lewis

Josi grew up learning to love rivers and rafting in Boulder, CO. At age 18 she moved to New York City where she met her husband, Jeremy, who convinced her to spend a summer in Alaska. They eventually moved to Cooper Landing and started a family. Josi has worked with Alaska River Adventures since 2015 and spends as much time as possible fishing.
